Join us for a 2-Week Theater Immersion Experience! This 2-week immersive experience will inspire our Explorers as we transform our original ideas into live theatrical performances in two weeks. Dreams really do come true! Week One: The Write Camp Does your child have a love for the written word, an active imagination, or the gift of gab? During Week One of our Theater Immersion Experience we are spending the week on a literary adventure. Our activities include poetry workshops, comic-book writing, and a week-long “writers room” workshop as we collectively write our own theater piece to be produced during week two. Excursions include writing in one of NYC’s coolest coffee shops (because that’s what writers do!) and a workshop at Poets House. Who says writing can’t be fun? Week Two: The Producers Club Does your child have a love for the theater, drama, musicals, art or set design? Our Theater Intensive Camp: The Producers Club is an excellent way for your child to have an immersive theater learning experience that covers both the inside and outside of theater from the spot light to the stage lights. After honing our writing skills in week one during The Write Camp, we will work on acting and design skills during week two. The city will be our classroom as we explore Times Square and catch a live performance, all while preparing for our own production at the end of the two-week camp experience.
